“The proprietor has added extra touches like a library, music and toiletries in the bathroom. The bed and linen were also top class. Would highly recommend after a day of hiking and the associated restaurant was great.”
Angela“beautiful old house, all newly refurbished. Super large and cozy room, the additional sofa and record player (with stack of vinyls) were just great. There is a library with tons of books, microwave and coffee machine. Would have loved to come back on return trip, but it was fully booked. Will try again next time, for sure ;)”

Angela“We loved how the inn is decorated and feels very warm and friendly. The pillows were very soft and comfortable and enjoyed our morning coffee in the deers head mugs. It was nice and quiet/peaceful. Even though the restaurant was closed due to Covid, there are restaurants nearby we enjoyed like the Baxter Mountain Tavern and the Arsenal. And when everything was closed late night after a hike, we got microwaveable dinners from Stewart’s across the street and those were surprisingly really good too. There is a Tops and Kinney drugs right next door too! So if you forgot to pack anything, you don’t have to go far to buy it. ”
