Iliana“Because of Covid their usual breakfast was not served, but that was no concern as there was a micro wave, frig and coffee maker in the room. The room was spacious, clean and on the lower floor as I had requested. IT was so quiet...I slept well. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were soft and fluffy. If your intention is to visit Paula Dean's and the Island then this place is ideal as you can walk the short distance there and back! There is a nice swimming pool and I was amazed that it was still open in mid October!. If you plan a lengthy visit you will be glad to know there is a customer laundry area. The staff there are among the friendliest I have met anywhere. They were great! Incidently there is also a nice Publix Grocery Store within walking distance of the Lodge. All and all very nicely situated and I hope to return there at a later date. Happy trails ya'll!”
