• “Clean, comfortable. Microwave and frig were so helpful. The decor was quaint and cute. Don't be put off by the entrance. Unfortunately we only stayed one of our reserved nights because Great Basin NP visitor centers exhibits were closed and no cave tours offered.”

• “The room has all you could need: comfortable king bed, clean room and bathroom; fridge, microwave, coffee machine with coffee. Even the towels are great: big, thick bath towels. Well heated for Nov; The room is also very well decorated and simply cozy cabin atmosphere. The internet isn't the fastest out here, but it works pretty well! The only thing missing is a box of tissues! Would really love to come back if I get a chance to visit the area again.”

• “We were on a road trip and the great basin park was our last stop before heading to Vegas. And this motel is among the very few places close to the park. It is a motel and RV park. The room was spaceous and clean and had all the basic facilities that i can think of. Had a microwave too. The internet connection was not that good. But overall, it the room was better than what we were expecting.”

• “Nice motel and campgroy with great views. To be fair you can't go wrong with views in Baker anywhere, but the motel has a nice line of sight to the Great Basin National Park. The park is a 15 min drive from there. They have a decent bar and a burger shack, which was the only thing open for food in Baker then.”

• “The hotel was in Baker, NV very close to the Great Basin National Park Visitor Center in town and close to the actual park. The room was spacious and included a futon couch and other furniture that provided lots of surfaces to put our belongings on. Microwave and fridge were very helpful in that there were really no restaurants in the small town of Baker. (Baker seemed to be struggling as a town economically--many businesses were closed and there were very few other lodging choices offered there. Though a modest, older strip hotel (and campground), we were very comfortable there for our 4 night stay while visiting Great Basin National Park.”

• “We had a great little stay in Baker Nevada. There aren’t many lodging options available in the small town, but Whispering Elms offered the basic amenities we needed. It was within walking distance to a dinner spot, and they have a bar on site. Plus, it’s located just at the base of the park which was perfect for us. I would stay here again. ”
