“The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the older woman who ran the breakfast. The room was comfortable and well thought out with a large tv, a window that opened, a separate area for food and coffe, a fridge and microwave, a very comfortable bed with plenty of pillows, etc.. And we could walk to Buddy's Pizza - highly recommended.”

The bed was super, five pillows and an extra blanket. The room had a refrigerator, an iron and board, the bathroom had a coffee pot with coffee and tea, and a hair dryer. Overall, the place exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.”

Although the decor of my room seemed a bit dated, it was quiet, very clean and comfortable, which in the end is all I really want. I don't normally sleep well in hotels, but I slept really well, there. The curtains also did a nice job of blocking out most of the light, so my jet lag didn't get the better of me. The waffle maker for breakfast was a nice touch, and there is a great Mexican bar/restaurant within a few minutes walk. Although there was a coffee maker in my room, it was nice to have fresh ice water, tea and coffee available at all times, in the lobby. The location makes getting to other places in Grand Rapids every easy. I was consistently able to get an Uber in under 5 minutes.”
